Wisdom Ceramic Mug — Ecclesiastes 9:4 "A living dog is better off than a dead lion." (11oz/15oz)

The "Hope in Breath" Mug

At first glance, it’s just a sturdy, minimalist ceramic mug—warm, unglazed stoneware on the outside with a smooth, glossy dark interior. But etched into the side in a clean, timeless font is a quiet, surprising reminder:

"A living dog is better off than a dead lion."

— Ecclesiastes 9:4

It’s an intentionally unvarnished quote from the Bible's most brutally honest philosopher. In ancient times, the lion was the ultimate symbol of majestic strength and nobility, while the dog was lowly and overlooked. Yet the verse turns that dynamic on its head.

The point isn't about dogs or lions—it's about breath. The magnificent lion in the museum or the history books can’t act, impact the world, or taste a warm drink anymore. But you? You’re here. You’re breathing.

Hold this mug on the morning when you feel small, tired, or far from where you thought you’d be. It doesn't ask you to be extraordinary today. It simply reminds you that as long as you have life, you have hope, opportunity, and the chance to keep going.

Still breathing. Still here. Still in the game.

Practical details—microwave and dishwasher safety, durable ceramic, and two size options—mean this mug is made for real use, not just display. Lead- and BPA-free construction and a comfortable C-handle bring peace of mind with every comforting gulp.
